Thank the mother of pearls we have technology now, right?! Otherwise we would be stuck in the stone age and miss everyone we want to see and every place we want to be but can’t. With that said, some of us simply don’t have the opportunity to partake in front row seats sipping on a venti frappe (for the underage) or champagne (for the grown and sexy) scrutinizing the runway as each model struts her stuff. Lately, boutiques have just been flourishing with an abundance of color in their windows over the normal black that you would see during the winter. Above, are some of my personal essentials for this spring so I definitely recommend a splash of color to a more neutral outfit if you’re looking to spice it up some. I recently did a DIY purse just to finally get out of my old boring leatherDooney & Bourke and the outcome was pretty great, so if you’re a crafty chick, you may want to test your skills with that glue gun. Spending a few bucks on maybe a belt and a necklace will also alleviate that crabby winter feeling as well. Also, investing in a good pair of neon pumps will totally bring out the sexy sass in you.
The problem many of us face is how to wear neon without looking like a total clown. Solution? Wearing a black blazer, some jeans, black pumps and lastly for that VA VA-VOOM effect, a neon necklace. Simple and classic but with a twist all your own.
