                         Sweet Sweet Life

Fall has finally arrived here in North Texas! The trees have changed colors, winds gusting at 7am, and black coffee in my tummy. My little outfit consists of a maroon sweater from Banana, my trusty jeans from Tommy Hilfiger, and my Ginni Binni combat boots. I decided to not wear jewelry because placing cold metal on your neck at 6 am is not a great feeling. Lmao. And my beautiful pictures were taken by my fab photographer, Rey.

Living in Denton has been extremely hard for me! The lack of actual retail shops is pretty much stressing me out! So I had to find a cure for my sadness and thanks to my Photographer, Rey and his lover gave me a tour around all these outlets and all my other favorites brands! Lord knows that I cannot live without the mall, and the minute I stepped into Nordstrom my heart palpitated FAST! Was the best feeling ever. I use to travel only 20 minutes to the galleria in Houston, now it takes an hour! The place is very beautiful unfortunately no skating ring but hopefully a huge Christmas tree!
I was terribly excited to know that Dallas is getting better by day. Meeting outstanding people and getting to know them in less than ten minutes is pretty outrageous. I dare you to jump out of your comfort zone and talk to at least to three new people. You will thank me later.
Arriving to Denton I got to know who I was deep down inside. I now know that I love singing outrageously loud, I have low tolerance for ignorant people, I wear lots of crazy stuff and don’t care what people have to say and also I love to spend on food. A LOT! Being a college student away from home, has its perks some moments you will hate being away, and some days you will love the decision you made. Its ok! You are not alone. Do things you have never done before. Go for long walks, stay up all night, or order something crazy to eat. Try new things I command!

                From Dallas to Houston

This weekend I took advantage of the extremely long weekend to come visit my family and spend quality time with them. Feels weird even after a week to be around them LOL! But had an amazing time with them like always..Duh! My parents took me to their all time fav restaurant, which btw they went on cute dates, and flinged around before I was born. So! Yes it is cool to know that the place is still up and running for business. I decided to go super casual by pairing my Talbots sweatshirt, leather moto bike leggings and my leather slip ons. Yes very casual yet chic! Bunned my hair up; added a bedazzling headband for that extra touch! I love the background due to the high green contrast, and the scene was freaking amazing! So like always my trusty photographer, my sister, decided to snap a few pictures for you all!
                New Me, New Atmosphere
As you all may know I have moved to Denton from Houston, Texas in the past two days. Leaving the city to arrive to a very scrawny yet humble town was a VERY drastic change. Starting college at Texas Woman’s University is a great honor. Obviously ranked the 5th best college, the 3rd best foods in AMERICA, and lastly the friendliest!
You may ask why did you move to such a small town when you live, breather, and eat at the mall? Well, being in college debt free is truly a blessing, but sometimes one has to learn to restrain themselves from purchasing so much. Learn to be a more “responsible” person!?
Secondly, I moved because Texas Woman’s University is a great college to attend since I am a premed student. This has nothing to do with fashion but I would love to give advice to young ladies out there who are probably going to be in the same shoes as I am but I do recommend reading below what I have prepared for you. XO, Stephany

1.    College is nothing like High School
2.    NO one cares if you were the baddest b*tch in High School.
3.    Memorizing wont help you anymore, but understanding the concept,
4.    There are two different types of people. The one who sits in front of the row or the in the back eating a crummy cookie.
5.    If you weren’t responsible before, you will be forced to learn.
6.    Just because you are in college does not give you the right to dress like you workout. Be remembered by the girl with the nice dress.

                      Holly Golightly

In This world I desire to relive one scene or perhaps the whole movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” Holly Golightly who plays a young woman NOT seeking for love, who refuses being “caged in” and living her life admiring Tiffany and Co. from right outside the window hoping someday it would be all hers. I can see myself as Holly, declining love and never looking for it. Holly dresses is black which is very flattering to her pale skin and is always a classic LBD. I paired by Talbots Tshirt dress with some nude rosegold heels which are COMFORTABLE! The clutch is DIYED by me. I was inspired by Phillip Lim clutch and took a little Balenciaga inspo and combined them and made a very chic subtle clutch.
Geometry

It is Saturday! Tonight I dressed up in a very casual dress that has a very peculiar geometry design which I believe is very interesting and plus no need for the extra jewelry since the eye goes straight to the design. I paired it with some navy blue flats to just bring the whole look together. Nothing overwhelming.

               Comfy Houston

Here I am wearing a very comfty knitted sweater since I tend to go all out when it rains and plus its August! I have over a tommy elbow patched blazer that is sooo cute! And for jeans just a little more casual dark washed jeans, and some black suede shoes that are fab! Oh! Couldn’t forget my trusty black “Carrie Bradshaw” bag which is ultra tres chic!
                         Serenity.

What is the way you relax? Eat, drink, draw, read perhaps talking? Whatever you do, I suggest you do that more often. I love shopping, doing my makeup, talking to others, sketching clothes, and organizing anything. Take time to let those serotonin levels charge up. Remember its healthy and total okay to step down and have time for you. Do it with no regrets.

 Little Businesses'

So you may have been wondering where have I been these past two weeks. Due to my absence of doing “business” I wanted to update you all just a bit. I have been “disconnected” from the blogging life and let me tell you all. It sucks! Instead of relaxing and having a bit of serenity in my life. Its been torture. Blogging has been an addiction. I love writing to you all about my life, fashion, foods I have been trying out. And well I have plugged back in. I can not stand not writing on my blog. So I have a little surprise for you all. May include a little giveaway..whoa! My first giveaway! More details on my next post. I went to Panera the other day and let me tell you all! Gosh! I love their bread and creamy tomato soup! Well I love tomato soup in general but Panera’s have won that competition! For clothes I went daring! Denim on denim. Even though I got criticized for wearing denim on denim let me tell you all do not give them importance. Let those ugly mean girls bicker! Also wearing some black suede pointed heels, and my ultra fab polka dotted blazer, which by the way I got at Target! I felt courageous wearing that outfit!

      Back To School Guru

The first week of August how exciting?! I mean I am starting college so I am definitely excited to start! Whatever you starting; college, highschool, middle school, or probably a new job? Take courage. Look at it as if it is a new start, a new chapter. I paired my Tommy Hilfiger pleated red wine skirt, with a YSL sweatshirt that I DIYED, some pointed LOFT flats, and an old nude bag. Dor back to school many of use do not have the opportunity to splurge on an actual YSL sweatshirt so its totally easy and way funner to make it. I paired some flats because they are comfortable and plus they add that schoolgirl vibe to those sexy legs. The skirt is totally comfortable and adds that POP of color instead of that boring old lady look. You wont get an F wearing this outfit. Remember ladies school shall be your priority not something you nudge to

         Yummy To My Tummy

So if y’all did not know before I am a sucker for food. Especially sushi. In Houston there are several places to try sushi except the buffet. Hashtag sorry not sorry. The very first time I tried sushi was pretty sketchy, yes I was very scared but eager to try new foods. Since I am always venturing around my comfort zone, sushi is always the way to go. Soma sushi has a variety of Japanese customs, from miso soup, raw sushi, deep-fried sushi, and some kale chips with tuna tar tar. If you are in the Houston area I do recommend their Crazy irish man which is absolutely my ultimate fav. Or for those spicy tigers try the creamy mermaid. Sushi is probably my favorite foods when it comes to eating out. Ladies and gents venture out your box

 Au Revoir to stress

This weekend my immune system failed on me leaving me to stay hopelessly sick in bed. While I sat in the tub I decided to share my easy peasy DIY “blackberry coffee scrub”
Ingredients:
                  5 Blackberries (Or any berry)
1 TBSP. Coffee grinds (The stronger the better)
                  1TBSP Olive oil
Directions: In a small container smash all your ingredients together, which will make a weird gooey substance. This will make enough for your whole entire body. Scrub and leave as a mask for your face as well. Remove as desired. Leaving you will flawless smooth skin.

Ladies and Gentlemen this scrub could be used after you shave as a good exfoliator and also will delay hair growth for up to 2 days. The coffee also reduces the appearance of cellulite and the invigorating smell relaxes you boosting your endorphins. Olive oil is a great moisturizer (btw it was used back in the days for Cleopatra.) The blackberries or any berry contain antioxidants, which will help for that sun kissed glow and reduce acne.

                          Macaron’s By Patisse

Macarons are always a delight to my tummy. Especially since France is oh so far.
"Macaron's By Patisse" should be Houston's ultimate fav stop to make, with their two locations which are located in the River Oaks Area, and their new expansion in the Galleria. Their boutique is filled with an immediate comfort from their exceptional customer service, and the rainbow tiers of Macarons from all flavors you could imagine. The first time I stopped by Patisse, immediately after entering the door I seriously felt like I was at Laudrees. Their interior design is so polished and sleek. May I mention that they also have italian sodas! Which are my absolute fave! Making  macarons are a pain (I have been there!) therefore stop your egg white beating and head on over to Patisse! Did i mention they also have catering so if Cupcakes and cakes are not up your alley try having some Fruit filled macarons at your next event! A sweet savory french cookie right from the comfort of Houston no one should pass.
Bon Appetite!
