Like a Virgin...To Fashion

Everyone has been there. Like a virgin to the fashion, the world, Am I right ladies? Prada, MIU MIU, Hermes, and all those foreign designer names we all could not pronounce so we just nudged and walked to Old Navy for our plain Jane jeans. How does one “build” style yet walk in it with confidence? Madonna is not just the queen of pop, but a big sister spreading her oh so high enviable esteem. Madonna not only an 80’s icon to music but to fashion, if not ask your mom. I get asked often how did I discover my style? Or how am I so confident? Ladies two things, style is something that is found very patiently and with some confidence, but it all starts within.
1) Cleaning any impudent thoughts or idea about you. Sister if you were born with it, EMBRACE IT! I am not perfect, I am too tall, have a big nose, or just imperfectly perfect to some. Growing up was a very difficult journey for me but guess what?! I stopped my low self-esteem with doing something about myself. I was not going to just stand there and not do anything about the situation. I embraced my tall self, my big perfectly unique nose, and lastly everyone’s ignorant comment was just going to the bucket of trash. I am the type of person who doesn’t cry because someone gave me a bad comment, otherwise I use that comment to build myself up.
CONFIDENCE IS KEY TO A BETTER FUTURE!
2) Start changing your image. Snip some bangs, try new food, try some yoga, and set up a planner of activities you would love to accomplish at the end of the day. Eating healthy not also will benefit your health but also make psychological change. The body will notice you want to change for the better.
GO OUT THE BOX. VENTURE OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.
3) Get to know your self. This may sound funny but introduce your self to yourself. It’s true. Be true to yourself; don’t victimize yourself in becoming someone you are not. It is very different in having “role models” than being a replica. Grab some magazines, and circle what YOU like. Listen to a variety of music, Hit like and add it to YOUR fave playlist.
BE YOURSELF
4) Lastly, take the challenge to wear the highest heels in your closet wear them in the daytime. Yes, you will get looks. Nudge them! Walk every street like a runaway. If you can pass that test, you are Stephany Proof! That’s building confidence one strut at a time!
WORK IT!

"Fashion is nothing without confidence."
